⚠️ IMPORTANT: Risk Warning Using a VPN to activate regional keys formally violates Microsoft's terms and conditions. The main risk is that the key will not activate, and you will lose money. Main rule: To activate an Indian key, TWO conditions must be met: An IP address in India (solved by a VPN). A billing profile address in India (solved by adding an Indian address to your Microsoft account). 🛠 What you'll need: An Xbox Game Pass key (corresponding to the IN / India region). Your Microsoft account (without changing your primary account region!). A reliable paid VPN with servers in India. Free VPNs often don't work. A browser (incognito/private mode is recommended). 📋 Step-by-step instructions: Step 1: Preparing your Microsoft account (Adding an Indian address) This must be done BEFORE activation, without a VPN. Go to account.microsoft.com and sign in to your account. Go to "Your info" → click "Edit info." Find "Country/region" or "Add location." You need to add an address in India without changing the primary region of your account. You will need a real Indian address and postal code. You can use a hotel address or generate one (Google "fake address india generator"). Example address: Street: 123, Gandhi Street City: Mumbai State: Maharashtra Postal code: 400001 (very important!) Phone: You can generate one or enter your own (the main thing is to use the correct postal code). Save your changes. Your profile now includes an Indian address. Go to the official Microsoft activation page: https://redeem.microsoft.com. Sign in to your Microsoft account (the one you added the Indian address to). Enter your 25-digit code and click "Next." Step 3: Confirmation and completion If you've done everything correctly, the system will recognize the key and prompt you to activate it. The page will indicate that it's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Confirm the activation. Click the "Activate" button or similar. After successful activation, you will see a confirmation message. You can now turn off the VPN. Step 4: Check on console or PC Turn on your Xbox console or the Xbox app on your PC. Log in to your profile (the same account must be logged in). Go to the "Subscriptions" section (in your account settings or in the store). You should see that your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is active and the expiration date is indicated. "The code is not valid in your region" → This means that Microsoft doesn't see you as an Indian user. Check: Is the VPN working (check your IP on whoer.net; it should show an Indian location).
